The Q3 '08 Webcast will be held Tuesday, 15 July at 9:30 am Pacific (12:30 pm Eastern). The Webcast will feature a discussion for the functional audience at 9:30 and a discussion for the technical audience at 10:00.
The Cognos Presentation for the functional audience will provide:
- the basics of performance management to help you deliver real competitive advantage and not just process improvements
- an understanding of how just a few information sweet spots let you keep your finger on the pulse of business performance
- department by department examples of the business insights you can gain from reports, plans, dashboards and scorecards
The OBIEE Presentation for the technical audience will provide:
- procedures for building and verifying the three layers of an Oracle BI Repository, discussing the basics of using the Oracle BI Server Administration Tool to build a repository
- a discussion of the process of importing schemas, design and building logical business models
- a discussion of how to build physical and logical joins, simple measures and calculation measures as well as how to validate the repository by building queries and verifying query results using Oracle BI Answers and the query log
